The Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland (FLPA) is Queensland’s leading family law body and provide members with education in family law and industry networking opportunities. Established in 1984, FLPA was a successful, collegial association with a membership base of more than 600 family law practitioners. Despite their success, FLPA’s growth was stagnating.
In April 2015, Oventus was a fledgling, start-up business with an innovative invention to treat snoring and sleep apnoea. Developed with the CSIRO, Oventus aimed to launch into the Australian market, float on the stock exchange and establish credibility in the international market within a year. With only three Oventus staff, resources were limited and Altitude quickly became the internal marketing engine room working to build the profile with limited resources and time.
Green Plus Australia was a new business in Australia, established to distribute the innovative liquid combustion catalyst Green Plus which blends with fuel to build a more sustainable future for Australians by improving the environmental balance. Directors Mark McSweeney and Barry Cox were referred to Caroline Thurlow to discuss the initial marketing / branding strategy for the business and set up all the necessary platforms to begin trade.
Bicycle Queensland (BQ) is a non-profit community and advocacy group promoting fun and safe cycling. With more than 11,000 members, BQ supports programs that promote cycling and health and well-being.
Among its flagship events are Bike Week and The Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge – Queensland’s largest mass participation bike ride.
Anne Fuchs was running her own business Pinnacle Practice advising financial advisers when she came up with the idea to write a white paper for financial advisers. Knowing Caroline had ghost-written many white papers for financial advisers and had a strong background in working in the financial services industry, the two met to discuss the possibilities.
