Entries are now open for the Santos GLNG Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge on Sunday October 20. For the third year running, Altitude Public Relations will be working alongside Bicycle Queensland to raise awareness of the biggest bike ride in Queensland’s event calendar. As well as taking on their own fitness challenge, riders will be fighting heart disease – Australia’s number 1 killer – by raising vital funds for the Heart Foundation.
Lack of physical activity is a major contributor to cardiovascular disease. This year’s event is encouraging everyone from families to corporate highfliers to get on their bikes in the fight against this deadly disease.
More than 10,000 cyclists are expected to take part in the 100km ride which also has a 60km option for those wishing to tackle a shorter distance. So get your heart in training now and visit www.bq.org.au to register.
